Why not wear a dress that is not too flaired and when sitting, stays within the confines of the wheelchair wheels. To add more glamour, attach a train to the back of the wheel chair. You can be as pouffy as you want in decorating the chair.

Simple you should wear a tea length wedding dress that way you wont have to worry about your dress getting caught in your wheel chair. Have a great wedding day!

Well it depends on how you want to go down the aisle...if you want to walk then get a dress thats shorter in the front with a small train...if you want to wheel down the aisle you could wear a short dress with maybe a train coming out from behind the wheel chair..so your not sitting on it and its not getting under your wheels...

It is completely your choice to walk or ride down the aisle. I like the idea of having men carry you down the aisle to meet your prince. (I might steal that one for my own!) You want to be as comfortable as possible, though. You still have time to get your dress altered, so you can take some layering off, or even add a satin skirt over the top. That will be less likely to get caught. And take it up so it won't touch the floor when you sit.

If you wedding is 6 weeks away, and you can muster up the energy, try exercising until you are able to walk - remember, walking up the isle does not have to be a marathon. You could have a very short walk that would be just as nice is if you walked completely around the block in your wedding dress!

So much depends upon your personal style. Some would feel great about wearing a beautiful and feminin suit or flowing palazzo pant. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptuals. My 10 tear anniversary is 4/27. I always tell newlyweds to Always be each others best friend first and always stay boyfriend/girlfriend. Keep dating each other.

I personally have the same problem only i try using a cane most of the time. If i were in your situation i would get a long straight line dress if i were staying in my chair. i would also decorate my chair to match my dress. My chair is a part of me so it needs to look just a beautiful as the rest of me does.

Do you have your dress yet? If you don't why not look for a tea length dress... And if you already have one, you should look into getting it altered to be tea length. It will still look very classy and elegant and give you the freedom to move around without the hassle. It's your special day and you don't want to be concerned with your dress all night. And congratulations!!! Best of luck to you.

I would wear a Tea length dress and have someone fashion a detachable train...you could even have a train(or long veil) made for your chair and have MOH or flower girls help carry it so it doesn't get caught.
