How can atheists best be saved? What can we do to enlighten them? A serious question because if we can save just one - just one - wouldn't that be worth it? Wouldn't that please God?

thinking that you know god because you THINK (not know) your cult is the right one, is the ultimate in self-serving, selfish egotistical self-importance.

don't say that people are factually destined for something just because your cult says so... You come across as a self-important fraud.

You have a misaphrehension about just what it is to be 'saved'! Those who will find peace in the next world will be those who did good to their neighbor and loved one another, not those who were members of a particular religion or who held 'correct' beliefs! The Deity is not a respector of religions (or a lack thereof.) There are many Atheists who will be ussured into glory on the day of judgement, and many Believers who belonged to the 'right' church and did all the 'right' things will be turned away, because they hated their fellow men and judged them by false standards instead of the standards of goodness and virtue that the Deity loves! It is the spiritual and not merely the 'religious' who will be counted as worthy... BE WARNED!

It's really hard to convert atheists, believe me, I've tried with my best friend since preschool and they still don't believe.

I suppose there's not much you can do. People will have their beliefs, but as long as you keep trying your efforts might pay off. I was an atheist, but my friends worked forever of converting me and I finally changed. It just depends on how strong the person is in their beliefs and how much you've read the bible.

i think that all christians should pray for Gods wisdom before answering their questions. i think that christian answers are having a small effect we might not see the effct here. But a seed planted here could be paving the way for God to send someone to witness to someone. God bless

Just because they do not believe in GOD does not mean that God does not believe in them. Everybody is unique and there are reasons that people do things that might be legitimate for them, but not for someone else. God knows what is in their hearts. God loves Charles Mansion and Mother THeresa EQUALLY! He created them both in love. He very well might forgive Charles Mansion because he might have truly believed that he was doing good.

Well actually, we cant really save anyone. Its the holy spirit that has to make them understand , and soften their hearts. But we can try and talk to them, and thats all we can do. Plant the seed and pray. Its up to God and the holy spirit to work in their lives.

I heard that God thinks we are most likely to be saved IF YOU JUST COMPLETELY IGNORE US AND KEEP ANY MENTION OF CHANGING OUR WAY OF THINKING FROM OUR HEARING! Don't tell too many people I said - it can be our secret.

Heaven's Messenger: just to confirm your thoughts: I wouldn't believe it for one second.

God loves everybody, yes, He does. However, it is not our job to save the word. We can't do that,my friend. It is our job to plant seeds and let the Holy Spirit work in their lives

I don't mind getting saved. If I was hanging off of a building by one hand I wouldn't care who came and saved me but otherwise leave me alone.

Why thank you, the flying spaghetti monster loves you, too! (Even though you don't believe in him) And who is it I'm being saved from? I am in no risky situation, but thank you anyway. Please keep your beliefs to yourself.
