....where the poster is pretending to be Muslim yet mocking Islam, what religion (if any) do you assume the troll belongs to?

2007-01-17 09:40:27 · 9 answers · asked by Anonymous in Society & Culture Religion & Spirituality

I don't know why, but I usually feel that the poster is Christian.

I don't know any Wiccans who dislike Islam - we accept, as a general group, that terrorists are a perversion of the Islamic religion. I think that most Atheists feel the same way, though I don't know.

But I see a LOT of posts from Christians about how evil Islam is, which I kind of find a little hypocritical.....

I was wondering what others thought, though.

Muslims are the new punching bags in America. What with the Prez being an evil, vapid, beetle-headed little man with a strong Oedipal complex, yet another sterling example of Christianity, it has become difficult for many to interpret the terribly blurred lines between democracy and fascism. The Jews were once similarly a punching bag for Hitler. He (a fine Catholic) let all of Germany know what terrorists those Semites were. Many Christians gathered around him as to Christ because he spurted some doctrine in the midst of his lunatic ravings.

My apologies to any Christians I may have offended - I have great respect for anyone whose purpose is to propagate peace and share love, compassion, humanity, and intelligence. There are many Christians who do just this. Very few on the Answers board, but I've found 'em. It is not Islam or Christianity (or any other religion for that matter) that upsets me to the point I have to bang my head against the wall for hours and cry, like Ralph in The Lord Of The Flies, for the end of innocence, the darkness of man’s heart, and the fall through the air of the true, wise friend called Kindness (or was it Rationale? Simon, Piggy, we'll take 'em both). It is the religious themselves, as a whole, that drive my violent urge to render myself unconscious utilizing whatever method is available. It is not anyone's version of god that I detest. It is how so many manipulate those supposedly sacred words and quote them ridiculously whenever they are wrong. Ignorance personified. Frightening.

Hi, Elesia. Never looked into the tenets of Wiccanism, but after reading some of your questions and answers, I realize I definitely must learn more. An open-minded and tolerant belief system is such a rarity to find these days. You awful pagan, you.

i think of, as a Catholic as properly, your mum and dad observed how properly your brother have been given on at an all boys college and need that it is pondered upon you besides mght. I do have self assurance that they are being unfair as you may have the capacity to learn how to socialise with women and men. I went to a co-ed Catholic college and it exchange into nice, much less hedonistic than the single intercourse colleges easily. Ask your mum and dad to take you around the two colleges and coach your hobbies. it may coach them which you would be happier

If I had to take a guess, I would say he is possibly Jewish (no reason for picking Jewish other than Muslims having a dislike of Jews; sorry if anyone here is Jewish). I don't have a clue really, but one thing is for sure: this dude is an a*shole.

Don't judge all Christians because of one bad one! Most TRUE CHRISTIANS, unlike the fake ones, really practice Christianity and love to show compassion no matter what! I am not going to judge you by your religion. I won't judge you. I know what you think is wrong, but I am a Christian. You wouldn't expect me to agree, would you?

I don't expect you to agree with me, but just hear me out. If someone is a true Christian, they won't judge other religions. We try to lead you to Christ, but it is ultimately your desicion.

My opinion is that in most cases these are bored white kids who come from a christian upbringing; but they may not be practicing any religion at all.

While you can assume a great deal about such a poster, I don't think you can assume religious affiliation, except that he is not Muslim.

Muslims aren't very popular with a lot of people now. I really wouldn't think it was any faith in particular.

Ignore such idiot posts. Responding, or posting stuff about them, such as this, only encourages them.
