My son is an extra smart kid who is dealing with his parents marital break up. My ex is useless on this and my son chooses to ignore me, except to tell me how he will respond to any actions I take

So in other words instead of you being the PARENT here and telling your son what he IS going to do and HOW he is going to act, you are allowing him to run your life instead. Breaking up or not , YOU ARE THE PARENT and he is the KID. He would never be or try to be in CHARGE in my house. Sure he is upset about the break up and why wouldnt he be but this does not give him the right to act like he is.

look when i was little my parents did not let me do thoose things and when i bit people my mom would bit me on my finger tip.and she onley had to do it a couple of times then i quit. it dont hurt them but you can feel it and it ant the best thing to fill but sooner or later he will be like hmm that dont feel to good i think i shouldnt do that any more and for him not listening beat his but he dont rule the house you do.

Get your daughter to bit him back but twice as hard, he mite relize that way if he bites her hes going to get hurt too. goodluck

bit him back or call a cop to come out to you house and talk to him biteing is concederd mayham and it is a serious crime

they do have a boot camp program for kids like him. if he don't shape up ship his but to boot camp.
