I'm speaking tomorrow at my high schools Bible Club, and I'd like to do it over pride, and how it gets between you and God. Any stories, passages, scriptures or lessons would help me a lot! Thanks!

Go to http://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=pride&qs_version=31 . That page is a direct link to a full topical study on the subject of pride. If you would prefer a different version of the bible than the NIV, you can go to the home page http://www.biblegateway.com and change the information around. It is the fastest and most complete way I know to find passages on nearly anything. I have used it quite a few times in the past to help out a couple of pastors I know to prepare sermons.

Hope this helps...

ok heres what I were given outta interpreting that up there for ya.. purely being inspired by the promise of humility or the which technique of genuine greatness isn't adequate; neither is it adequate to also be knowledgeable about the perils of pride. If there is ever to be significant transformation in our lives, if we are to make progression in restraining pride and manifesting humility, there should be the useful software of reality- an attempt and pursuit on our section that God will use for sanctifying transformation in our lives. save in recommendations back John Scott's sensible education: In each step of our Christian advance and adulthood, and for the era of each component of our Christian obedience and restoration, our perfect foe is pride and our perfect all is humility. i'm confident of this from Scripture, and out of that fact and conviction i ought to guage how i visit each and each day, diligently, and deliberately weaken my correct enemy and advance my correct pal-all inspired by grace in the shadow of the bypass.
