Why not wet your finger, hold it up in the air and use that method. Just as good.

Alternatively, make up some whizzo gadget with some odd bits of kit, flashing lights etc and sell it to the gullible punters. Make some money and buy stuff that really works. Dysons, dishwashers, etc.
