Julie,
Funny I should come across your question. I was just watching my local news and they reported that a mother of 3 just died from drinking 2 gallons of water. There's this condition known as "water intoxication". It occurs when you consume large quantities of water. How much is too much? I don't know. It probably depends on your body weight and your level of physical activity. I know that a lot of sources say that you should drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. I stick to about 4 or 5 eight ounce glasses. Anything more makes me run to the bathroom too many times and this can't be good for your bladder. Check with your own personal doctor about how much you should drink and remember that you should drink your water throughout the day, not all at once. Good luck to you and be careful!

It depends on your height and weight i think. I would say about a leter a day. You should be drinking water even if your not thristy. You can be dehydrated and not thristy at all so its important to drink water anyways. If your thristy it could mean you havent been hydrated for a while so continuously drink water through out the day....if your sick of water drink something like green tea, pomaganet or orange juice or soy milk.
I think "we" need to define what exactly is a "glass" because their is many types of glasses.

The amount of water we need to drink each day can vary. Factors that can increase the need for fluid, including: Increased physical activity Hot and humid weather Dry indoor air and high altitudes, which reduce moisture in the air Having an illness, particularly one accompanied by fever, vomiting or diarrhea To be adequately hydrated you need to consume about 2.7 litres (91 fluid ounces) of total water a day. Since food typically accounts for about 20 percent of fluid intake, this means drinking roughly 2.2 liters (74 ounces or about 9 cups) of beverages a day. While drinking water is often the best way to replace lost fluids, other liquids including milk, tea, soup, fruit juice and sports drinks also are effective. Therefore cordial is OK. One caution: beverages with caffeine or alcohol can increase fluid output, making it more difficult to stay adequately hydrated. For a healthy adult, fluid intake is probably adequate when one rarely experiences thirst and when urine is colorless or slightly yellow. Signs of inadequate fluid intake may include dry mouth, headache, light-headedness, little or no urination, and constipation.

8 to 10 glasses is supposedly good for you. When you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated somewhat. But yes you can drink too much water which can result in death. You can get water intoxication if you drink too much.

8-10 glasses. 8 ounces a glass, should be sufficient. This should be only water and anything more than 80 ounces a day is to much.

the eight to ten glasses of water is meant to be over the whole day, not with in an hour. If you do it over the whole day, you will be fine

I'm not sure about that, but I do know that if you drink more than 1 or 2 qts. of water in an hour, it does something to your white blood cells (bloats them, I think) and it can kill you.
