Hi! I have a question- After you start using Proactiv to get rid of the acne/scars and you do. Can you stop using Proactiv after your skin clears up or will you have to constantly use it to keep them away?

its been my experience and every one that i know that has tried it that although it works great with clearing up your skin, once you stop using it, everything comes right back, you have to continue to use it to keep acne away. good luck

Proactiv is a great system...it really works. I stopped using it for awhile because it's a bit pricey, but started having breakouts again. So I started using it again...and haven't stopped since. In my opinion, the price is worth it if it means having clear skin.

Yeah, it does create a dependency. I got myself off of it this summer and I had some pretty gnarly breakouts for awhile, but I've been using The Body Shop's skin regimen ever since and my skin looks great.

omggg i use proactiv tooo. i love it. it works. keep using it afterwards because the revitalizing toner and renewing cleanser help help clean out clogged pores. then the repairing lotion helps get rid of current acne and helps prevent acne from occurring in the future. Believe me-- i know from experience.. don't stop using it.

You have to always use that junk. I would recommend Acne Free it is less drying to the skin than Pro Activ and way less expensive.

I`ve heard that it`s really good but once you start using it you have to keep using it or it will all come back.

You are not becoming dependent, it just works temporarily (while used) just like any other local treatment
