Facts:
Been together for 8 months
broke up 4 days ago
he said that he wasn't feeling the relationship, it's not me it's him and he doesn't know what he wants, and its best that we break up now rather then ten years from now because he don't see a forever with us.
We still talk on the phone, text, go home together, and have sex, but we're not together.
I'm hurting in a confused way....he's there for me, holds me when I cry, and listens to my laments. He's breaking up with me and he's being there for me at the same time? What is going on?

He's just being a good friend. I was in just about the same situation not to long ago. It'll be awkward at first, but give it time and you guys will be good friends.

you will not be able to get over him. you need to separate yourself from him to help get over him. If you stay around him then your feelings for him are not going to just go away. you have to hang with someone else and do your own thing . If you don't then I feel bad for you.

Get away from him. He's using you. It makes me sick to think of that situation. To get over him... Spend time away from him.
