My 16 month old granddaughter has virus and is running a fever of 102.6.. i gave her 1/4 tsp motrin and will re administer it in 4 hrs..I have pedia pops for her but its been a LONG TIME since i had a sick baby in the house and I was wanting to know if pedia pops are frozen medicine and is there a dosage.The box they came in has been tossed out so i have no directions to follow and the Dr office has not returned my call. I have never used these before.. I always did the cool sitz baths and cool compresses.

2. Fluid intake is total fluid requirement from oral electrolyte solution, formula, or other fluids, but does not take into account ongoing stool losses. Fluid loss in the stool should be replaced by consumption of an extra amount of Pedialyte equal to stool losses, in addition to fluid maintenance requirement in this Administration Guide. Pedialyte Freezer Pops are to be used with Pedialyte Electrolyte Maintenance Solution or other appropriate fluids to help prevent dehydration.

the pedia pops are like the liquid form for dehydration.i'd google pedia pops to double check though.hope the baby gets better.

it is just for Hydration usually. Think pedicare--but frozen. Elecrolites and water
