So I like this guy whos turning 18 in August.. and I will be turning 15 a couple days after.. and he keeps saying he likes me but the age kills it.. Everyone I ask says age shouldn't matter if you really like someone.. And my cousin went out with someone who was 15 when he was 18 and they have been together for 3 years.. So, I don't think it really matters.. :/ but what do you think?

Age matters more the younger the two in the relationship are. If he's saying the age kills it then he's not mature enough to deal with it. As two people get older an age gap like 3 years is going to seem insignificant. The biggest obstacle you have is the social groups the two of you associate with. Your friends and his friends may not be able to socialise together often, so you will have to make sure the two of you find some 'our' friends. Above all make sure you discuss how you feel with you boyfriend. Guys can be a bit dumb when working out what's going on in a relationship, so don't let things fester.

I'm a little older, but would like to comment. I'm 25, my husband is 32. Our relationship is perfect. So does age matter? It definitely matters when the guy is younger. It is true that most guys mature more slowly than girls. So, if you get a younger one, it could create a real problem - really annoying. The older ones are great. I've tried both and this relationship is the best. Good luck.

You know Age doesn't matter. Just sit down and talk about it with him and if it's something you both want then you need to go talk with you parents and let them know and be honest. That way when they do find out they are not so suprised and do something tarrable, like turn him in because at those age line are getting cross and some people do have problems with it. If you really care about him you won't what him to get into any trouble.

I think it depends on the age of the people. 15 and 18 is not bad at all. It would all depend on the maturity level of both of the people involved in the relationship. As you get older age doesn't matter as much!
hope this helps

okay, well I think that age shouldn't matter. I know how you feel it is almost like I know you. :] So I deff. think age shouldn't matter. I agree with all these people. Does this special guy knew how you felt about him, if not you should express our feelings to him.
