Then use paper towels or something and blot up the rest of the watery stuff.

After that, we use Nature's Miracle. It gets stains out fairly well. We have a very light carpet so puke stains show up very well. Follow the directions on the bottle and the stain should come out. Maybe not all the way but pretty darn close.

Clean it up without barfing yourself. If your dog is still acting normally and has the same level of energy, he is probably fine. If he is acting sick or unusually tired, take him to the vet.

If on carpet....First get up any solid waste with a paper towel or rag.... next blot out as much liquid as possible.... do not rub (this will make it worse).... after you have gotten out as much as possible poor water over the stain and let soak... soak up the water... and apply a stain remover to your carpet.... let dry.... (If the odor remains after it dries....sprinkle baking soda over the area.... let stand and vacuum up..
