These people that say find a new dentist don't know what the *** they are talking about, I've worked at a tattoo/piercing shop for 6yrs now and it's not going to hurt to leave it out for an hour if you got it done back in october

if u pierced it in the end of October it should be fine. for about 45 minutes. if it is longer i would put it back in. or maybe u could stick a small stud in ur lip without him knowing it. well good luck!!

My dentist has never asked me to remove a piercing .... I think that you should ask him why and then get another dentist

Yep, find a new dentist or put in a spacer to hold the shape until the one you have is finished.

Ask your dentist if it would be ok if you left it in. Or, ask your doctor if u can take it out.

It should be fine just make sure you put it in as soon as you get done, try and clean it before you put your ring back in.

LOL.....I had surgery months ago....and I carried my belly ring to the hospital.....I was putting it back on by midnight, with the help of my night nurse.....carry it with you, put it back on before you leave the office.
