Muslims believe in one God (Allah)

Hindus believe in a thousands of Gods which can range form the sun to animals.

I don't how I can answer that because I know nothing about Hinduism. I do know that Muslims pray five times a day, fast during Ramadhan, pay the poor due, go on Hajj, and the belief is that only God created the World and he is one without sons or daughters. They respect animals yet they never worship them; for Muslims believe that even the tiniest ant worships God too, as well as a blade of grass.

These religions are difficult to compare because they have entirely different origins. Hinduism is a polytheistic faith, thousands of years old and Islam was founded in the first millennium CE from Judeo-Christian roots. There are simply too many differences to discuss in such a forum. Perhaps if you were more specific in your request? Are you referring to actual doctrine or more of the domestic differences, home life and suchlike?

they are VASTLY different...
main difference is monothiesm (islam) vs. polytheism (hindu)
might be easier to ask what's similar about them!
