you dont, But if you are just wanting to VIEW power points presentions made by other people you can go to microsoft & download the PowerPoint Viewer which is free. Here is the URL:

as for what cafetom said...open office is really cool but microsoft changes things in their programming constantly, so any new power point presention will not be viewable by open office later, open office is great; if you use linux.

You can't.

You may be able to find an older version, online or at a thrift store . or second hand shop for cheap money. But remember without the certificate of authenticity with the registration code the software would be useless.

Older versions of many programs including microsofts can have the registration code easily defeated. But that is illegal so I won't tell you how to do it.

There is something you can get that is better than powerpoint, it is call Open Office. It is completely compatible with powerpoint, and even more powerful. Best of all, it is FREE.
