I am an irish/american 3rd. my wife wants to give our baby a "american" name. i want a name that reflects both of our cultures. quyen/gwen and duc/duke are already taken. thurston howell the fouth is also out.

The website below has tons of names and their meanings. Asian names usually have very deep meanings. The site also show you some more famous asian names. I think its a good place to start

For a boy: how about Dan? It's close to the Vietnamese name Danh, which means "prestige."


For a girl: how about Kim (vietnamese meaning "Golden")
