Ya, its a big help to me. I dont use it as a learning tool, but I use it as a tool to get my swing back in to groove if I havent been playing well. I originally ran into it when i was working on my swing with a golf pro, he said it would improve my consistency alot. And since ive gotten it my handicap has dropped from a 12 to a four. But I cant give it all the credit since i play 6 days a week and probably only swing the leadbetter 3 or 4 days in a month. So I strongly suggest it, but make sure you watch the video it comes with first, cause it is easy to use it the wrong way without knowing how. Good Luck!!!!

No, it didn't help me. My back swing is normally pretty slow and this setter requires me to swing much faster in order to get the "click". I tried setting the tension very light but still didn't click. If I continue to use it, it would definitely change my tempo, which I do not want to do. As such, I returned it to where I bought it from.

You should also take a look at Golf Swing Guru and the PurePoint Golfing System, they are really good.

Its had really helped my swing. I used to always be too fast and come over the top but it helped me stay on plane and not get quick. You can get one fairly cheap on ebay.
