I would buy a modest house and a new car, then here's what I would really like to do...I'd purchase a lot of land in the country, and then open a no-kill animal shelter. I see so many stray dogs and cats, and in this area of Oklahoma, you can't even put your trash out early without dogs ripping into it. Our animal "shelter" is just 4 pens with aluminum over them, and it sits 20 feet away from a wastewater pond! The animal control officers feel so horrible about putting so many dogs to sleep each week that now they drop them off at numerous dirt roads, which isn't a good solution, but I can understand about them getting tired of putting down 30 dogs a week, most in great shape. The city won't put any money into the problem, so if I won the lottery, I would put my own money and time into the problem. It would be my new job, and I'd never b**** about going to work again.

I would go straight to the Mayo Clinic, have everything checked and treated, then plan my trip around the World. When I get back, I would pay my two sons' house mortgages off, donate to some charities and then kick back and enjoy all the memories of my travels. Would put money into a college fund for my Grandson. Fix up the house and invest the rest.

I just bought lottery tickets, incedently.

Pay off ALLL bills. Pay off my parents and my husband's parents bills. Give our 2 close freinds and My husband's uncle about 25k a peice to help get them out of hock. Buy a large expanse of land. Build a nice, but not gigantic house right in the middle of it. Give my best freind the house we live in now so he'll have a roof over his head and I won't worry about him. Travel. Get a crapload of animals. Open a small used bookstore/coffee shop/gallery, because I WILL quit my job, but would be bored hanging around the house all day and would want something to do. My husband would probably never work again, and that's fine by me. We would not live lavishly, but live comfortably.

If I win the 181mil tonight I'll keep you posted.

First, I would have to set a chunk of it aside for the IRS.
Second, give a lot of money to my parents who are in their 70's.
Third, remodel my parent's house.
Fourth, give some to my brothers who need it.
Fifth, set up college funds for my nieces and nephews.
Sixth, donate $35,000 to my parents' church's building fund to have a stained-glass window installed in their honor.
Seventh, pay off all my bills and mortgage.
Eighth, Travel! Travel! Travel! and Travel! (first class, of course).
Ninth, anonymously donate to individual people who really need it.
Tenth and finally, use the money in whatever ways come along!

Pay off my bills, invest some, buy proprty to house all my family and friends so they'd be close by, give some to charity, take a trip.
Depends on how much I win. Bills come first.

Contact a lawyer cause you'll see how many new friends and relatives you have, you never knew you had, come out of the woods. And they all think they're entitled to your money. Oh, and don't forget, you need to pay me for this advise.

I'd buy a new computer, buncha games, new car, house, food galore, and then probably get a few more things I can't remember then give the rest to charity.
