There is no legitimate place that I can think of.
The law says 18 or older...that's it.
If you really want it, what's one more year??
People who are always trying to get over on
the system, mess things up for everyone else.

There are places in Oklahoma that you can go to if you are underage but you need parental consent. I am from Texas and NO place here will do it for you unless they are dirty. I got my first one at 15 from a dirty dirty place and I paid $15 for being underage. They have now closed and the tat was hideous. But I do know that there are clean places that do it for minors in OK but with parental consent. I have to say what everyone else is saying. Think for a while before getting one. I have the one from when I was 15 and I HATE it. I know have three more because they are also addicting. For my last tat I drew it on myslef the same place every day for almost a year with perm. ink to make sure I wanted it... just an idea. Good Luck! :)

I understand you really want a tattoo. But like some other people said, you should wait until you are 18. It is something that cannot be removed. Well it can but it costs more to take it off then it did to put and on and it hurts more to get it off.

If you want a tattoo so bad you can wait another year, your turning 17 and you may change your mind about what you want to get in a year... I got my first one when I was 23, I wanted to get one when I was 16 but I didn't and I'm glad that I waited, I changed my mind about a 1000 times until I found what I really wanted, now I'm 31 and have 13 tat's and no regrets...

Most tattoo shop will tattoo you if you have a parent with you... but if your parents don't approve of you getting one, wait the extra year . A artist worth anything won't tattoo a under aged person, and the ones that will could possible give you a nice case of hepatitis , or worse HIV.... so don't risk it.

well there may be some places that will do with parental consent since you are over 16 but there is a reason that the law is set at 18 in terms of when you can get one. I would not go to a place that disobeys the law on this just because if they are lax on age (which they could lose their license over) - they are prob lax on other stuff too re: sanitation.

1. If you really want one now, you'll still want it when you're 18 and can get it then

2. You are not done growing yet....if you grow, the tattoo doesn't grow along with you...it stretches out.

3. Do you REALLY know what's significant to you right now? You're still in HS if you're only 16. What may be important to you right now is most likely going to change once you get a little older.

Hate to be playing the "you're too young" card on this one but there is a reason that these laws and regulations are set up ya know....

go ahead and give me a thumbs down on this because I know you're not going to like my answer....but oh wells!

You should just wait until you are 18 or older.

It is not fair to ask a tattoo artist to potentially lose his or her livelihood because you were too impatient to wait until the legal age.

Aside from that it will give you more time to think about it rather than rushing into getting one on a whim.

I have Tatt's..... I was 31 when I got my first. My advice is to wait. I have wanted them forever myself but now realize that at 17 I would have been way too young to make that decision. I know thats not what you wanted to hear....Im 33 now and I have several and all can be covered if I need them to be. Some people aren't as accepting of that kind of art. I know, I know....at your age I was like I am who I am and people can like it or not. Society just does not work that way. So take time to make a good decision on what you get and where you get it. They are forever. Good Luck!

every place that i know of you have to be 18, if you were already 17 some places might let you slide. what do your parents think about you getting a tattoo, if they don't have a problem with it then just ask them to sign for it!!!

if i were you i wouldn't do it. unless you can get parental consent. and even then... i would be very cautious about it because your taste will change. i got tattoos when i was 18 and i am totally different now at 25 and i have since gotten my old tattoos covered up. besides that i would be concerned about getting a tattoo any place that doesn't card because it is likely that they do not have strict health code compliance either.
