No most countries insist on 6 months, a few 3 months. you can apply for a new passport now, the extra months you have on your exsisting passport will be added to your new one , so your passport will be valid for 10 years and 5 months. you wont loose out. But unless you renew, you can forget the holiday. Sorry

i'm afraid not.you need a full 6 months on your passport before you can leave the country.if you contact your nearest passport office they will sort something out for you so you can still travel.hope you get it sorted and you have a lovely time.

No idea but you have time to get a renewal. Any unexpired time left on your current passport will be added to your new passport.

We needed six months on ours for Tenerife, which is the same area.

dont think so....normally you need at least 3 months left....check with your travel agent
