Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita , Kansas . Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii .
When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya . His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia . When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia ... Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta . He also spent two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."

Like all Democrats. If they actually showed their true colors, they'd NEVER get an elective office.

sturdy aspect. How humorous, that Republicans tried to argue that Obama became too new to the scene to be taken heavily or relied on.... yet they themselves are fawning over Sarah Palin, who they have universal for some distance fewer months. And Palin has given voters some distance fewer opportunities to get to appeal to close her by interviews. by the way, Obama's political occupation became no longer released in William Ayres the front room. The GOP is concerning a celebration Ayres threw for state senator Alice Palmer, which Obama attended (Alice Palmer invited Obama). on the prompt, Obama had in no way met Ayres. the in reality different interplay Obama and Ayres had became on the Woods Board, which became a nonprofit community board set up by REPUBLICAN Walter Annenberg. The Republicans are very sneaky with how they word issues. So, why might want to you've self assurance those who purposely misinform you?

Religion is no more a qualifier for Obama then it was for Kennedy. Not to mention that I understand he now refers to himself as a Christian and so therefore is not a Muslim at all. Muslim is not an ethnic group like Jewish. Once you stop believing in it's teachings you are no longer in the religion.
In the long run it does not matter either for him or for any candidate
"We ask merely a man's worth not the accident of his condition"
Would we have elected Roosevelt if we cared about some ones condition?
Or Kennedy is we cared for religion
Or Lincoln if mental health was an issue (he suffered from depression)
Or Jefferson (also a depression sufferer)
I am not saying Obama is equal to any of them, just that he may be and none of what you said would make a difference

You did not finish the article----he has converted to Christianity. He is not a Muslim.
If you want to tell about him, at least, tell it all----not just part of it.
Besides---he just might make one darn good president. Then, anyone one would be better than this ''holier than thou'' Christian we now have.
I am neither a Muslim or a Christian. I am Jewish, and so far, Obama looks pretty good to me.
And, just noticed someone said he is Catholic. He is Protestant. He is not a Catholic--not that that should matter.

Why should I care about any of that?
It seems to me that would actually qualify him for the job even moreso. With all the experience of learning other religions and other cultures he should heve a much better insight into the needs of the world in relation to the US. Who better to deal with the difficulties brought on my racism and/or misunderstanding of the Islamic peoples than someone who has been one or is one of them. If ever there was a time for a muslim POTUS, now is it.

I don't think that his identity is hidden.
I saw a report on CNN outlining all this.
I find it interesting that he attended various schools.
I do find a born again president more scary even if religion is not the main thing that would guide my choice for a President.

Hes a freshman senator and because of that, No one knows who he is and what he is truly about, and why should they? He knows he will not be the next president, but I think he's hoping to get a cabinet position should the Democrats win this time around.

It's nice to see these atheists defending religion for a change. They have an agenda and will say anything it takes to see that it succeeds. I believe that he has tried to identify with the Church of Christ, but I don't believe that for a minute. I believe he will be a liability to the safety and welfare of this country if elected. I will not vote for him.

What's your point? That he's been more than one religion his whole life?
Clearly, someone who's willing to change his mind once in awhile should NEVER be President. That's why Bush has been such a roaring success.
