I am so tired of grumpy, somber doctors. Just their attitude makes me feel worse when I leave than when I came in!

It changes from doctor to doctor I've found the women doctors are a lot more cheery and comforting yet my male doctors just want to do their job and get me out as soon as we're done. It really depends on the person the selves look around for new doctors it helps seeing them if you enjoy their company.

It's the malpractice insurance. It's extracted either through their nose or butt, and that's painful for them.
I think if I were a doctor, I'd get so sick & tired of seeing patients who eat a bunch of crap, don't exercise, refuse to education themselves on good nutrition, take no responsibility for the fact that they weigh 245 pounds... and demand a drug to make all their problems vanish because some TV commercial told them to "ask you doctor about.."

They must feel a slave to their profession as well as drained/tired.
If they were still passionate and felt happiness with what they did, they would not be able to keep a stone cold somber face.

I agree....those grumpy old bastards make my day crappier than it already is. They should retire....
