When i go to Microsoft word it says it is locked and I need a 25 character key to unlock it? What is the Key?

Hello my friend Dude,

You have to buy the program. It should be on the CD or on the paper in the box somewhere, if you didn't pirate it.

If you did, don't do it :)

Goto http://www.openoffice.org and download this for free. It does most everything MS office does, but doesn't cost you a dime.

As mentioned by other posters, there should be a key / serial sticker.

If you don't have one, I'd go the legal route and replace Microsoft Office with OpenOffice - there are no fees, a very open license, and it's compatible with all file versions from MS Office and others like Lotus Notes and even WordStar (anchient).

Considering the direction MS is moving, I'd suggest you move away from using their products. Feel free to do some research.

If you bought the program it should be in the box on the CD cover or on the manual. If you bought the program it should be easy to find because it would be on a sticker that is titled Key Code.

the key is the license code you got when you purchased the software. You need to enter that code that came with the CDs or with the PC when you purchased it.

Anyone giving you their code is illegal.
