Im just starting to paintball and i was wondering if the spyder sonic was a good gun. It looks and sounds good and if you know anything pls. post it. If there are any other guns u reccommend then pls. post it thx.

I have a kingman spyder sonix and i like it. idk if you just left out the kingman part or not but there probably the same or very close to the same gun. in anycase mine was cheap (got it from actionvillage.com) and it shoots just as good as the guns i play against. a barrel upgrade would help but if your like me and you really just want it to screw around with friends once in a while its a great gun. I've chopped two balls in about 5000 rounds and both i forgot to turn on my hopper so it was my own fault. theres alot of room for upgrade which is good since you just started because if you want to make it better you can or if you decide your not gonna join a team and go in competitions and stuff you can just keep it the way it is. A couple of my friends have tippmans and those are good but other than that i really don't know cause i haven't tried. anyway, good luck finding a good gun!

Having played paintball for more then 5 years I wouldn't recommend any Spyder paintball gun. They are made using lots of plastic and compared to most other non-electric guns, are not very reliable. If this is your first marker purchase I would recommend the Tippman 98 Custom. Its has all metal construction and can handle the rain, mud, snow. Just wash it over and put some gun oil on it and it works perfectly.
Also there are several accessories available, that as your game increases, will make your gun more capable.

i even have had a spyder because i began out enjoying paintball in simple terms approximately 3 years in the past, it particularly is been solid, and that they are incredibly common to maintain and sparkling, and that they are common to get repaired if something is going incorrect besides. All it incredibly gets all the way down to is what you elect, and how lots you elect to spend, spyders tend to be greater fee-effective than tippmanns. And if all else fails you may continuously improve added down the line besides. My terrific suggestion is do learn on the two, and make your determination based off of that.

No, its crap. Stay away from spyders, and go for at least a ION, then mabey a pmr, and then up from there. I
