I am Christian, full gospel, meaning I believe in all of the Bible, Old and New Testaments, and believe we must obey God . Loving God leads to obedience. and, I believe we dont need other books to prove our beliefs. If its not in the Bible, forget it.
And, yes the Bible says we are to pray for our leaders all the time, even the evil ones, that they will change and give their hearts to God and lead us the right way. There is such power in prayer.
Yes, we serve a risen Christ. He made such sacrifices for all of us, and we are to sacrifice SELF for Him, and obey Him , and not concern ourselves with our own selfish needs or the world. ITs about doing what God says, and prayer is necessary. The more we pray, the closer we get to God and the more He will reveal to us. Obedience also leads to blessing and new revelation. Bible clearly states that obedience leads to blessing, and disobedience leads to curse... whether anyone wants to hear that or not. Its God way, or we will be lost. Press on.

Daniel 2:44 " In the days of those kings ( world leaders) The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed onto any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to time indefinate."
Matthew 6:9,10 Jesus himself said " You must pray then this way: OUR Father in the heavens, let your Name be Sanctified. Let Your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. "
Jesus is the King of that Kingdom,, I personally put my faith in Jehovah's kingdom Not the World leaders nor thier kingdoms,,,
And look at what this kingdom will accomplish:
War Eliminated Peace Forever
Ps. 46:8, 9 " Come, you people, behold the activities of Jehovah, how he has set astonishing events on the earth. He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth."
Isaiah 2:4 They will have to beat thier swords into plow shears and thier spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore"
Plenty of food for all
Ps. 72: 16 There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth; on the tops of mountains there will be an overflow."
Nomore sickness or death
Reveleation 21: 3, 4 " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say, " Look the tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from thier eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
Homes and Work for Everyone
Isaiah 65: 21, 22 They will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vinyards and eat thier fruitage. They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating"
Micah 4:4 They will actually sit, each one under his vine or under his fig tree and there will be no one making them tremble; for the very mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken it."
Provide Security
Psalm 37:10 " Just a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more; you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will posses the earth and they will indeed find thier exquisit delight in the abundance of peace."
Global Peace will affect even the animals
Isaiah 11: 6 " The wolf will actually reside for awhile witht he male lamb, and with the kid ( baby goat) the leopard itself will lie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well fed animal all together and a little boy will be leader over them all."
Now what world leader can make any of these claims and bring them to fruition? And if we were to pray for our world leaders Jesus might have included that in his model prayer would he not?!

yes,i pray for them.even some of them are not believers God give them the authority to be our leaders.it is our responsibility to pray our leaders.i always pray that God give them wisdom to rule our country.God is in control of everything.we can't fathom His wisdom and beyond comprehension.God loves us and sometimes He disciplined us for our own good.if we only delight ourselves to God he will give us the desire of our hearts.we have to pray not only to leaders and authorities but to every individual because we are precious in the eyes of God.

I do not pray for world leaders what is the point? God is doing what he is doing and prayer should be for you and I to get with his plan.
Prayer is misused and over rated.

I would reply because I am a citizen of the United States of America and I care about my country and its future. Just because I am not a Christian does not mean I do not pray or care.

I do. I have a list. The Mass Liturgy that I use includes the following:
"We beseech thee also, so to direct and dispose the hearts of all Christian Rulers, that they may truly and impartially administer justice, to the punishment of wickedness and vice, and to the maintenance of thy true religion, and virtue."

Yup, I pray that they'll make good decisions, I pray that they won't let their liberal media outlets get them down, and I pray for them to be granted courage and serenity, because their jobs are NOT easy.
