First of all you would need a dvd drive on your pc to watch movies. You also need a dvd software to watch it. Window Media Player which is already installed on your pc is one such . There are other dvd player softwares you can use like PowerDVD or WinDVD.

use windows media player, you might have to download the software to do that, If you have WMP 11 you should be good. If not you can buy software to download free players from Download.com

if you have a DVD drive it should auto play.
