i am just wondering if anybody knows if the new 2007 Shelby GT 500 will come in an automatic transmission... if not i will have to learn how to drive stick

well iknow it dont come in automatic that doesnt matter though i can learn... the thing is i called my ford delership and they said that there is no chance of getting one anyways there all sold and the sold more then what was produced... anybody k now if they will be making anymore

Yes we are still building '07s, & will be making them in 2008.
No they are not/ will not be available with AT.
You can still buy a 2007.
They are selling on e-bay.
Prices vary ...anywhere from 12 to 30 thousand dollars over & above the manufacturers suggested retail price.
That means at least $60,000. for a coupe.

Stick only,.
Don't be a sissy, learn to drive a stick, they are way more fun.

If you go to Fords website, you can see the only choice for the transmission is 6spd. Don't listen to the person below who said you can get an auto.

Ford does have an automatic option for the 500. They want to sell the heck out of it so they know there is way more drivers out there today who cant and dont want to drive stick so they know its in their best interest to make it available or risk a overly limited market for sales.

check for a Foose Mustang or you can build your own Shelby! They're offering the kits for both the six and eight :)

if you're going to get an automatic, it might as well be the 6 cyl. mustang.

nope. all shelbys are manual. that is how it is, and that is the only way they will be produced
