Like most of the people who have already responded, it's the putting away part I hate the most. I keep telling myself that I will put away all the stacks once the "next load" comes out, because then I can put it all away at once, or I'm waiting for more socks, or or or or..........I finally had to do one load of laundry a day, whether it was completely full or not, to keep the laundry monster at bay! It really does make a difference. I'm not a slob, but it just seems like I never got time to myself, none at all, I was either minding the baby or cleaning if they were asleep. Then my stepmother suggested I go to www.flylady.net, and it really helped with tips! I don't do everything they say to do, but it breaks it down into little jobs that are manageable. I like how she says, "Your house did not get dirty in one day and it will not get clean in one day!" That way I don't drive myself bananas. I also tell people who don't have small children to shove it if they think my house isn't pristine enough.

Yes and it does not matter how many times I try to teach the family to help me with this it still falls to me. They have other thinkgs to do too meuch school work ( an it is true they have so many things to do with school that they are never home) so guess who gets to do the laundry??? I wish I could train the dog to do it but then everything would end up pink since they do not do colors they way we do LOL

Seriously, I hate never-ending chores.

I HATE putting laundry away, HATE IT. I have like 5 baskets of laundry to put away. Plus a load in the dryer and the washer, but I can't empty the dryer until I put some stuff away.

Not me. The only time-consuming part is sorting stuff after it comes out of the dryer, and that takes only a few minutes.

I agree. Even when you think it is all done you have the clothes you are wearing and there is ALWAYS a sock or something hiding out. Just waiting for you to be done... then it appears! UGH!!! I hate it.
