my 2 1/2 year old black lab has a large bump on his hid left thigh and it feels hard. when hes laying down its not as noticable but when he stands it really sticks out. it doesnt hurt him when you touch it surprisingly. what could this be?

we took him to the vet, she is stumped on what it could be, she said she has never seen anything grow this fast. a biopsy will be done in a few days. any 1 have a clue what it is? i would just like to have some sort of an idea since the net wont kno for a while

another thing i forgot to add is the vet says its not a cyst (is to hard to be 1). and also he is an outside dog

might be a tick that is lodged in his leg...He might get lime disease. bring him to the vet asap!

Could be a fatty tumor that usually is benign. A vet must check it and do a needle aspiration to have the exact diagnosis. Good luck. Since your dog is young, IF it is a fatty tumor it can be surgically removed. Fatty tumors do grow over time. Have the vet check it soon. Good luck !!!!

It could be a fibroid cyst or another type of tumor - You really need to have it checked out by a vet!

Have the vet check it out asap. It may just be fatty tissue or it could be a cancerous mast cell tumor. If it is a mast cell,the sooner its removed the better chance there will be no complications.

Take him to the vet!!!!! Could probaly be numerous things, could be cancer, just a cyst, but defintly take him in to be safe, you wouldnt want to cause him any more pain that he may be in now.
