I guess just go....dince you said you would. It's no big deal. But if you decide it is, let her know ASAP you changed your mind

Well ask her if she was serious. If she was then go with her. You will be the one that went to Prom with an 11th grader. And then just pray that you don't get beat up by any Ex-boyfriends she may have. LOL have fun!

First, figure out if you are ready to date or not. Did she ask you to be her boyfriend, or just go one this one date to the prom with you? Even if you are not ready for a relationship, going on this one date to the prom might be good practice/experience for you.

Also, you need to figure out what costs are involved, and who is expected to pay for what. Some proms involve renting a tux, a limo, a fancy dinner, a corsage.... but since SHE asked YOU out, she might not expect you to fork over for all this.

Most importantly, make sure she definitely IS broken up with the ex... it's too rude to date another man's woman!

You should ask around a bit. See if this girl is serious or not. She could just be playing a prank on you or she might be genuinely interested. Ask some older kids that you are friends with if she really broke up with her ex. If you think she is genuinely interested and you feel comfortable around her, then I think that you are ready to date her.

wow. thats really shallow... that she asked you out... and she wants to take you to the prom... "erks" welp... if shes cute... but boy next year she will graduate and you'll still be stuck in high school. you may never kno who she'll meet @ college... and she'll leave you in the dust. just givin you a fair warning. i was really close to dating a junior... but i thought about it and i told myself no matter how cute the guy is.. its no use dating someone older than you. good luck kid.
