Hi Euha,
The uniqueness about the NHS that it provides free medical service at the point of need. The service itself is funded by national taxation and to a lesser extent by national insurance.

This is a unique socialist health service that was established shortly after the second great war.
Hope that helps

NHS is England's National Health Service. It controls all hospitals in Britain and the government pays for the care. Bad Idea. It has no service. If you get sick, you have to wait months for treatment. Some people want to bring that system here, such as Hillary Clinton. Bad Idea. In Canada and England, the Hospitals constantly run out of money and the governments there close the hospitals. Medicaid and Medicare in USA are broke. Don't let the US gov. manage our hospital care.

Founded for the people of this country ,but exploited by foreigners to the extent that what was once great is now a shambles.
Ps I haven't got a problem with foreigners using the nhs, but they should have to pay through some type of insurance as we do if we travel abroad.
