By stare I mean gawk with my tongue out and possibly, fall off the treadmill.

Honestly do they expect us not to look?

Especially if spandex is involved, come on?!

Why not, if they wear those tight shorts, do you think we're not going to look? Men are men. If they did'nt want us to stare, then wear a robe!

Gawking with your tongue hanging out is probably not the way to go. In fact, that could be really creepy.

Most people are aware of what they look like at the gym. There are mirrors everywhere at my gym, so it's hard not to be aware.

As for the expectation of being checked-out, you're at the gym. Of course people are checking each other out. Anybody who goes to the gym and fully expects nobody to look at them (especially when spandex is involved...for all body types) is kidding themselves.

That said, it is completely possible to offend or even make someone feel threatened by gawking. Go ahead and look, but do your best not to go over the top. Falling off the treadmill is ok - heck, some people might even be flattered - but try to keep from drooling, ok? Especially if you'd actually like to talk to one of these insanely attractive women at some point. You don't want to introduce yourself and have the reply be "oh, yeah - I've heard about you - you're the weird guy on the treadmill, right?"

Indeed it is a foolish question and I would love to see you at the gym looking the way you've described. It would be hysterical and I'd round everyone up in the gym to run over and look & stare at you..........

I'll bet you have fallen off the treadmill a few times with not much to do with gawking. ;-)

It shows that you still have blood in your veins. How do you that women are not looking at what you have to offer? Whatever you do don't get caught staring, be modest about it. Us women know how to be when we spot a piece of eye candy, men need to be as well.

lol That is funny. I agree with one of the answer where you can LOOK but don't touch!!!

However, it is really annoying when men GAWK at women. Everyone has a goal to be healthy or look better that's why they go to the gym. Of course, if there is someone attractive you can look but don't GAWK...that's so rude. It's like being harassed and followed - or stalked. Just screepy!!!!!!

I guess you are fine with the staring part, but why should you lose control over your tongue and fall off the treadmill? If you are that weak, please get off of the treadmill the moment you think such a situation is about to happen and sit on a chair and ogle all you want, so that you need not spend the rest of your life bedridden.
It seriously does not matter if the women want you to look at them or no, as far as you know what you want to do.
LOL

Of course it's okay. It's common sense: If you don't want people to see something, hide it. They are out flaunting the goods, so they should expect people to see the goods and act naturally. My guess is if they are at the gym, they are out to be looked at.

The one's who act offended aren't offended that a man noticed them, they are offended that the wrong man noticed them. Sexual harrassment is an ugly man's crime. With attractive men, it's called Woo-ing.

Look, I'm an Arab man, and I understand my man unit is impressively large because of it. So when I don't want people to notice, I stay in the car. But if I walk out from behond a large obstruction or appear in public without a large structure in front of me, people notice the overly large bulge in my pants and lust. I understand that. Woman should understand they have parts that attract too.

Honestly...I can't perceive anyone so socially inept as to ask this question...!!!

It is impolite to stare at ANYONE!!...Be-it a hottie...be-it a deformed person...be-it just the 'joe' next door doing something incredulous!!

Staring invades one's 'space'...
