They eat dogs in many asian countries. I was in Hong Kong and saw it on the menu.

It's not common to eat dogs and cats in the US but in some countries, people do eat cats and dogs. I've heard that Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese people eat them.

Correction, Americans don't eat dogs and cats. Go to China and you will learn something new and disgusting.

Truely that is not correct, there are several cultures that do eat dogs and cats and consider our food animals as pets instead..

My wife and I drove a man from the Philippians to Casper WY. and the whole time he was licking his lips as he looked at our little dog Freckles. He told us that she would be a tasty meal for many starving people at home.
Glad we were not there but here.

We consider them our pets. I consider it hypocritical that we eat cows, pigs, chickens, etc. but we don't eat cats or dogs.

if you really want to eat one go to a Chinese restaurant they will normally slip you sum dog if your looking for rat muck d are best. i wouldn't eat pets though its not right

I don't know also, maybe they were the first to be domesticated and used as pets, so they are not considered a food item.
