I have my personal email and one added mailbox on my outlook. I used to be able to click on the added mailbox and send an email. When someone would receive that email, it would say from that added mailbox. Now it is just putting my personal email in the "from" spot instead of the extra mailboxes address. I am using office 2000

How do i fix that?

Thanks

I use Office 2003. Hope they are the same. Go to Tools, E-mail accounts,View or Change Existing Account and correct the name under User Information.

This is set in Active Directory. The other mailbox needs to have you added to the security tab and "Send As" checked.

If you know you have rights to 'Send As' you need to add the 'From' field to your email messages (with out this field, Outlook thinks the mail is from the primary mailbox). This may be via the View or Options menus. Try using Outlook help menu to add the From field.
