He can't stop talking about how much he weighs and that he is overweight. How do I make him realize that his weight does not bother me. When I am honest, he thinks I am just being nice and considerate. I am not. I truly don't care about his weight. How do I make him realize this fact.

I am thin

just keep reassuring him - i have the same thing - i'm thin - he's getting a gut - i rub it & tell him how much i love it & smile at him - i never make a joke about it. (he thinks i'm too thin.)

Well even if you don't care how he is he does, which is the problem. All you can do is re-inforce the fact that you don't care.

If he is working out or going on diets and complaining that's fine, because he is doing something about it.

If he simply complains and then goes and eats a one pound burgur then tell the idiot to stop complaining.

But like I said, pretend your dealing with a child and insist on the fact that you don't care.

Luck!

its not about you being happy with his weight--its about him not being happy about it----encourage him to do what he needs to lose the weight---u have a little role reversal going on here too.

maybe if you offered to help him shed a few pounds he wouldn't be so uptight about his weight

Give him lots of BJ's. Even when he smells bad.
