I was just wondering if you left a half opened bottle of wine out too long would it go bad? Also I had some Irish Cream from Xmas that was opened, is it still safe to drink?

Exposure to air will cause the wine to go bad or at least not taste good. Vinegar is wine that hase been exposed to a particular bacteria. You should use a wine cork that allows you to suck the air out of the bottle if you don't want to finish it.

I don't think Irish Cream will go bad this soon, however it won't last forever. I've had bottles of Irish Cream around for several months and they seemed fine. At least they didn't make me sick.

Yes, the wine would go bad eventually. They make vacuum sealer corks and gadgets to slow/prevent this though. But, generally just resealing it with the original cork is not enough. Refrigerating helps also.

Was your Irish Cream refrigerated? If so, then it is probably still good. If not, it's probably toast.

Wine will turn into vinegar.

Your Irish Cream should be okay as long it was stored at room temp or below.
