My mom is pretty abusive what can i do?

She yells when it's not nessesary. Shes been hurting me extensively when it comes to "fat meat is greasy". She's seen me trying to improve (grades)but, she takes it as if I don't care anymore.

The best thing to do with an abusive parent is not to do anything to set her off. If I were you, do exactly what she says. Throw yourself into your school work get a job. Get good grades, you'll get into college, with the job you can pay for it without her assistance and move out on your own and never have to deal with her again. Everytime I got honor roll my parents didn't do anything: "Oh that's nice April." Not even a pat on the back. But then one day my father sat me down and he told me that the grades were for me not for praise. I realized he was right...though I feel that a child should be praised when they have good grades my parents don't. So work hard, everytime a grade improves praise yourself. Buy yourself a gift, set goals for yourself and after you've completed them have a day to yourself where you pamper yourself.......if no one else loves you or praises you...you have to do it yourself. you can turn her in to social welfare, you do not have to leave a name just a concerned person who has seen and heard how this women treats you and how you are not cared for.
tell you mom to get some therapy. Taking her angry out on you is not what a mature adult who is a good parent does.

Well iam sorry that you have a mom that doesnt apreciate your hard work. I would talk to someone about it like a counselor. That is actually considered verbal abuse...dont let her beat you down..Good Luck!
