Eat healthy and workout. Do circuit training with light weights; meaning use light weights to do a bunch of exercises one right after the other. That way you're getting a cardio workout as well as building muscle (which burns fat for you automatically). This is the best way I know how to lose weight and look good fast.

diet and excercise go together, don't starve yourself just avoid junk food, sugary drinks, eat healthy snacks instead; nowadays certain brands cut out all of that fat.
Excercise run for 20 min 3x a week, or join a sport like basketball or swimming. Just have fun and be healthy.
I know this sounds cheesy but I had a friend who lost 10lbs with that terrible crash diet and she was unable to maintain weight, her brother on the other hand who was overweight lost 50 lbs in two years just by eating healthy meals and running 3x a week. It works.
You can do it!!

If you drink soda pop, cut it out and drink water instead. You'll lose the desired weight in a couple of weeks. Soda pop makes you retain water because of the high sodium content. When you cut it out and drink water instead, you flush all that unneeded sodium out of your body. 8 12 oz glasses a day is the required amount.

only eat 30 carbs per meal every meal don't eat bread, don't eat a lot of meat. run, ride your bike, eat alot of salad
