This is one of my favorite EASY recipes:
Brown (but don't COOK) three or four chicken breasts in a large pan. Cover completely with spaghetti sauce, and let simmer all day. This can also be done in a slow cooker if you have to leave the house, or just want a warm meal to come home from work to.
Serve over cooked spaghetti!
The chicken just falls apart on the fork. You may even find you don't need as many as 3 or 4 breasts, this recipe REALLY stretches them - so it's very economical. It's delicious and super simple! I love having dinner waiting for me at the end of the day!!

Pillsbury cresent rolls....
Stuffed.
Your kids can participate, even.
Rather than just rolling them empty, you can put whatever you want inside.
Apple slices and cinnamon chips are great, so it chocolate and a dab of peanut butter. However, for a dinner, you want to go savory. Try pepperoni and cheese with a dollup of red sauce, perhaps spinach and cheese, or even be creative with leftovers.
This is just one simple suggestion, but I have a lot of home cooking experience, and always do things cheap and easy.

My favorite place for recipes is Allrecipes.com. Recipes are submitted by people like you and me and rated by people who've tried the recipes. Also, I've found really good recipes by Taste of Home. I had a gift subscription to their monthly recipe magazine. Both sources contain easy recipe alternatives and very few fancy, gourmet recipes (I find fancy gourmet recipes don't sit well with my family.)
