Not being rude. What does a recall have to do with your car breaking down at the dealership?? A recall is usually nothing more than The manufacture finding out that a certain model has a safety issue. They send out notifications to registered owners to have them come in and have it fixed at no cost to the customer. I have never heard of a recall causing a car to break down. Off hand the only Safty recalls for 1999 intrepids I can remember are for automatic shift selector popping out off gear. Steering rack and pinion frame failure. Windshield wiper failure. Front seat adjustment stop failure. Hope that helps.
