hey everyone. i have started talking to a guy here recently, and i do not want to ruin a potentially good relationship by my stupididty! i tend to do this and i dont want it to happen with this guy. what scares a man off and what are ways i can keep him interested? any advice would be helpful. thanks!

dont come off as being too needy, and dont talk alot about past relationships. you should be fine.

Some things that scare me off:
She takes over my life, trying to change things rather than suggesting
She has selfish needs (I'm good at delivering unselfish needs)
She tries to force how I should feel about her
She doesn't try to know my world
She's not really interested in me the person, just the me that fulfills the boyfriend, hubby, father role
She is constantly annoying and irritating
She cannot hear my correction and refuses to grow
Let a man come to you on his own; your willfulness will drive him away

Well I can't talk for all guys but some things that put me off early in a relationship is if the girl starts talking marrage and kids real soon into the conversation. sudden mood changes and asking about jealousy or trying to cause it also tend to cause me to lose interest .

That's a difficult question to pose because all men are different...what one man loves, another one may despise. Maybe you should take a closer look at yourself and your behavior in past relationships and try to figure out where things went wrong. This way, you can try to prevent making the same mistakes in the future.

Ok, let me tell you. We women, have always been emotional in our ways. And if men are scared of us, then why do men have feeling for us. Don't feel bad about yourself, hey, i'm emotional but over the years my emotionalness has wore off but it's still there forever, but it's wore off. So don't think men are scared off of us women! :) Also, don't think he stopped calling you because you were somewhat "emotional". Stop being paranoid and ask him already, if you wait, he'll just stop liking you because you waited so long for this loving moment!

Always be polite, girls who get comfortable too fast and ordering a guy around can scare a guy off. Also, taking things too fast, like talking about the future, marriage, kids, etc. Otherwise, just be yourself.

Just talk from your heart and compliment about the good things you see in him. I think guys like honest girls, just like we do ? Try to imagine his situation, how should you feel ?

Find out what he likes to do and incorperate it into your dates. Don't talk about ex's, don't make yourself out to be anything your not, stay honest, and as far as stupidity. No one is perfect and we all make dumb moves. Think things through before you do anything.

Don't ever tell him you love him...not til he says it first. Don't talk about marriage...until he brings it up. Serve good food, clean house, kiss, and cuddle and things should work out
