We don't recommend anything because if you do it can cause more bleeding. If you are going to your dentist it's a piece of cake because we won't take out a tooth that is too involved. You will feel a little pressure and will have to bite on gauze for 20-30 minutes if there is bleeding. We have taken out teeth where there wasn't any need to bite down on gauze, so don't get too worked up you are going to defeat yourself.

Don't eat anything. I have had about 5 teeth pulled and im only a teen. I have a small mouth. It only takes about a couple of minutes, so dont worry. The numb feeling will go away after that, but not for like an hour....lol.. Good luck!

The dentist will deaden the spot and then give you a prescription for pain once the shot wears off. No need to take anything before the visit unless the dentist instructs you to. (I've had 2 wisdom teeth pulled)

Don't take anything, when you see the dentist they will get the area numb. After they should give you a prescription for pain and maybe an antibiotic.

Nothing - Let them handle it. You don't want whatever you take at home to potentially interfere with what they give you at the dentist, or, not be able to get any drugs at all for the tooth pulling b/c you've already taken something at home!

NOTHING!! You do not want to take anything that could interact with what the dentist may give you. They will numb your mouth and that takes several hours to wear off which is plenty of time to fill the prescription for the good stuff that they will give you for pain!! ;) Good luck!!

nothing but a book to read in the waiting room.....they will give you something for the pain......ask if they have the gas because if you can avoid the novacain needle you'll have alot easier time

Don't take anything... they will numb you or knock you out. After wards take ibuprofen or Advil for the swelling.

Well if you mean take anything as is some medication, you don't have to because the dentist should give you something to help ease the pain, and he/she doesn't then as him/her if they have anything for the pain.
