I want to tell my (non-employed) boyfriend this but I dont know if it is really rude to say to a guy...
"There is difference between a male and a man, your 25 start acting like a man or I'll have to find someone who does"
I want a man who is man enough to work

I think you are right to want a man to be a man and provide for you; this guy sounds like a loser.

My gal Melrose loves that I am a manly man who plays hockey and has a big stick to pleasure her all the time.

Aside from the kids who obviously ARE the kinda guy your dating. The thing is HOW long has he been unemployed. A few weeks a few months.............a YEAR. If it's been a few weeks to a month or so be a little understanding(assuming he's looking) Now if it's going on a few months your best bet is to just tell him outright. Expect resistance and him to argue this to the grave. But tell him your looking for stability. And be blunt tell him it's really time to grow up at 25 he should have an idea on what he wants to do in life. I've had MANY TIMES where i've taken jobs i HATE just because i hate to not work and STILL continue to look for something more my style. But i didn't sit on my @$$ and play video games all day i went to a job i hated i made my money and got my work experience that i needed. Your b/f needs to grow up or you need to find someone who isn't gonna wanna live in mom's basement forever.

well... I would say that the best way to say it to him is to sit him down and tell him what things are important to you .. which include a working boyfriend. Give him the reasons why he should work in the first place. Since men tend to think of themselves as problem solvers, show him that there is a problem with him in not working. If you explain it in a calm manner he is sure to understand if he has a brain. Give him sometime to show his worth and if he does not live upto your expectations you can deciede accordingly. All the best !...

Yes, what you wrote here sounds reasonable. But it would be better if you could first sit with him and tell him "we are living in 21th century and everything need work or worked on." That means "it's getting ajob or sleeping in streets And for sure you can't afford sleeping in streets!!!" Good luck

P.S. What does he do when he is not working? Maybe he is thinking to envent something great!!!He might be a genius!!!

You'll carry a big burden if you have to support him. I don't think it's good for a woman to worry about the practical things like money because her sig other drops the ball. If he's trying but not successful, be patient. But if he's lazy and lacks some motivation, you're asking for trouble later on.

tell him that you what a financially stable man so i can raze my kids in a stable home and not depend on renting, but it takes two people with full jobs to buy a hope also i need your help to make it happen, because the bank will not let any one buy a house will a person buy a house when they are on u,i and it take two people to make it posible. so are you willing to help? ye of no. if he says no then look for a man that will help.

If your not happy in the relationship move on. Why bother with all the dramatics.
You'll probably find someone else with a different set of problems, just remember you have your own set of problems as well.
