Get a dog....it will lick your face, bark in your face, and pretty much make sure you get out of bed to let it out...

Trust me.....I know

I use the alarm on my cellphone. My other alarm clock never wakes me up, I can sleep through it for at least 30 minutes or an hour. But the alarm on my phone wakes me up everytime. Try getting an alarm clock with a different sound. Or an alarm that plays the radio when it comes on so you have different kinds and levels of sound.

I have the same problem with my 13 year old daughter. We moved her alarm away from the bed so that she had to get up to turn it off. She was turning it off or hitting snooze and going right back to sleep, and not remembering any of it. Some days I still have to go in a wake her up.
Ask a friend to call you to double check and make sure you are up.
And keep the phone right by your head.
Good luck.

I have had the same problem. My solution was to get a second alarm clock and to set the alarm for a few seconds after the first one goes off. If the first alarm fails to get me up, the second one will succeed. Secondly, you can likely turn your alarm off without getting up like I can; if you make it inconvenient to turn the alarm off (that is, don't put it right beside your head) that will help too.

Put a alarm clock in your bathroom, that will force you to stand up....I'm guessing that when your alarm goes off, you hit the snooze key or turn it off....try one away from your immediate reach.

You should try going to bed later at night, so you won't fall into a deep sleep!

you might be unconscious about it but you might be avoiding school.
Make a routine every day and program yourself verbally every night, it so works!!
