Now that i have wooden floors in my bedroom it has become very noisy than when i had carpet down.... should i have kept the carpet down?

no...wooden floors are much better...put some scatter rugs down where you generally walk and that will help...

It's a preference thing. Wood floors are great but you need rugs to put down cause wood floors are cold and they have a tendency to creak when they get a little old.

Keep the wood floors and invest in rugs, lots and lots of rugs.

I'm not sure what this has to do with singles and dating but rugs make it nice for a loving couple especially when it's in front of a roaring fire.

LOL not that this is a singles question but yes carpet muffles out more noise than you think. Go back to carpet because hardwood sucks.

I love hardwood floors, they are so much easier to clean - especially if you have pets! Just put a rug or two down to control some of the noise. Face it hardwood floors just look so much better.

yeah carpet more warmer but wooden flooring more cleaner

u could have got underlay for your fllooring that reduces noise. i think wooden flooring is much nicer than carpet tho maybe not as cosy.

just wear slippers and keep the wood floors!

Carpets harbour lots of germs! so where you need warmth - use a rug!

yes. you can find those carpets you just lay down,however they are expensive
