"Why not tell a friend to say no to jesus?" Well, why not say YES to Jesus?!?!? A relationship with Jesus is the BEST relationship anyone could ever be involved in...why would someone write this? Why would someone tell others to say NO to jesus? Do they not realize saying no to jesus is saying yes to sin, hell, satan, and on judgement day result in horror for them?!?!? What is this world coming to?!?

A lot of people say no to Jesus because they don't really understand what Christianity is about...so it's our job to inform them! I'm sure they don't say no to Jesus because they know that that's saying yes to sin and everything. But I like what you're thinking. ^__^

All we have to do is read the Bible and it says exactly what the world is coming to. It's truly sad for all those who do not know Him and won't even give Him a chance. To many people have made a mockery of Jesus and Christianity most of them are on t.v. with pink hair or hitting people in the forhead pretending to heal or sitting in pews with their perfect suits and skirts and people can't get past that and see God for what he really is which definitely is not all that crap.

If you really knew Jesus, you'd know exactly what this world is coming to. Maybe you're already saying "NO" to Jesus by not learning all you can about his life ministry and being obedient to God's commands. Jesus prophesied what to expect during the last days leading up to Armageddon before the meek inherit the earth. Matthew 24 is one place you can find Jesus fortelling signs of what would occur during the last days, one of which is the preaching work, which would be carried out by his true followers. Paul prophesied about what people would be like during the last days- lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God, for example. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) If it really upsets you that someone wrote, "say no to Jesus", maybe you'd like to be part of God's Kingdom which will soon bring about an end to wickedness and all suffering, where only friends of Jesus and his Father will be welcome. maybe they have heard the proof, the truth about the catholic church.

the fact that the church is, and has been since the middle ages, the biggest and most corrupt business on earth.

they have taken the good word and the great teachings of the MORTAL man Jesus of Nazareth, and turned them into SINS, blasphemous propaganda against human nature, in order to control (and profit from) the populous.

that's right, hell is not real. it has been created by the church to control the masses in a way that no other force could.

the unseen and unknown are good tools for shaping and abusing the human clay of our civilizations.

say yes to Jesus, but NO TO CHURCH.

Sigh.

The world is coming to a place where we can all agree on what is right and what is wrong from a societal standpoint, and where we realize that following an antiquated, archaic system of laws that even its followers admit are antiquated ("Old Testament = Old Laws" to quote one of Christ's adherents on this forum) is not necessarily the only path to the Divine.

And quite frankly, my relationship with my boyfriend is the best one I've ever been involved with. He's the one that came with me to the vet with the sick kitten I rescued from a storm drain, and he's the one who was upset to hear that the kitten had died. According to the Bible, the god who fathered Jesus couldn't give a crap about animals and what happens to them.

Perhaps they were meaning to say no to organized Christianity. Christianity in general has had a rather "colorful" history filled with the blood and suffering of others at it's hands. And there are other religions that don't deal with your Anti-God just because they don't support your savior.

We who are of God are not of this world, those who are not of God are of this world. The world is sinful that is why Jesus came and died for us. They "the world" hated him, they "the world" will hate those who are in Him as well. It is a spiritual war that we are in.
I am just so happy that you are saved.
God Bless you!

I'm so glad my world isn't limited to simple yes/no answers. Just because I don't accept the prophet Jesus as my Lord and Savior doesn't mean I'm rejecting him... I'm just rejecting some of the more simplistic orthodoxy that has arisen in his name.

Gosh, you are so right. People need to talk about Jesus freely and tell people the good news, that they can be saved a repent their sins. I think that our mission as Christians/Catholics/Whatever is to tell people about God and Jesus and what Jesus did to save our lives. Forever.

"A relationship with Jesus is the BEST relationship anyone could ever be involved in"
Mere assumption. Doesn't work for everybody, skippy.

"Why would someone tell others to say NO to jesus?"
It's called the First Amendment, skippy.

"Do they not realize saying no to jesus is saying yes to sin, hell, satan, and on judgement day result in horror for them?!?!? "
Only to those who believe in that sort of nonsense.

"What is this world coming to?!?"
Indeed.
