My step dad is out of a job at the moment and does his own thing during the day. Today I went round to theirs when mum had finished work and my daughter who is 1 went over to his side of the sofa which is where he keeps his laptop and paper work and accidently pulled out a bit of toilet paper. I smelt something a bit funky and sniffed the toilet paper which smelt of semen. He was caught out a few years ago with naughty things on his laptop which caused a massive arguement but he's obviously been looking at porn again, he never has any items in his drop down bar either. Should I tell mum what I found of just be disgusted and keep it to myself?

i think you should just leave it alone,i mean really whats wrong with a man looking at porn,if it's legal of course not kid porn.but honey men will be men,think about it if he got caught a couple of years ago and he's back at it again that just means that he will never change and if mom is happy with him why hurt her by telling her something that she probably already have an idea that it is going on.

I can't bring myself to understand why women get upset over porn. It's a lot better than the man going to strip clubs or cheating. There is nothing wrong with being curious about such things provided it's not kiddy porn!! Lots of people in healthy relationships watch porn together. You have to be willing to give as well as take, and compromise. Especially in the bedroom or else your spouse may decide to go elsewhere. That's not to say you should give in to all sorts of crazy demands but you have to remain open minded and if looking @ porn is all this man is doing your mum should be greatful because he could be doing A LOT WORSE!!!

I don't know any bloke who doesn't crack one off at some of the things you can see on the internet. And us girls too if we are honest.
As long as he's not a kiddy fiddler, I can't see that any images he 'keeps' or looks at should be a problem.
And what on earth did you think you were doing sniffing his tissues? Eek. You cannot be absolutely certain! He may just have...erm...wiped his mouth after eating a salty sandwich!
Just be disgusted in your own, sheltered little way and keep it to yourself. Would you report him if he were your real dad?

some women dont like their blokes looking at porn, but hten I think do we really have the right to stop them?
its not cheating and it depends on what material he has been caught with but if it is just porn, of the normal variety then I would let it slide.
if he is doing it and your mum doen't want him to then he will get caught, there will be a massive argument, but I woud save yourself the trouble of being involved.
No one knows you know... except us!

No I wouldn't tell your mum, keep well out of it or you would end up being accused of lying to break them up. I am sure your mum will find out for herself and then sort things.

He is a grown man he can do anything legal. Porn is not illegal, though, if it is anything to do with children don't tell your mom call the police and report it...........with this toilet paper issue, gosh, this man need some manners.

Its a difficult call, when you say naughty things I will assume they are naughty but legal - if there is anything involving kids I would report him quick.
Are he and your mum happy? If so is it your place to rock the boat by casting something up again?

This is a very tricky question and one which needs careful consideration. Would it not be better to approach your step dad and tell him of your suspicions. You could then tell him that if he doesn't stop looking at porn then you will have no choice but to tell your mum. It's difficult though, as firstly you didn't actually witness anything and it will ultimately be your word against his. It seems as though he needs help to me.
