Im gonna have to say be careful with the zip files, but besides that no worries esp. if u have a protection for ur computer, one that will detect, warn and remove the virus. Another thing is, ur sharing ur files with other people so if u have some confidential things u might wanna be extra careful, u can turn off ur internet sharing option, also make sure u exit after every use, by right clickin on the limewire icon and clickin Exit.

Limewire is a clean install and is a good one to use. However beaware of the files you download and the settings you use. Most users set up limewire in a way that it bypasses your antivirus allowing viruses to run amok on your computer. Most limewire entry viruses cannot be removed once they are on your computer, Only quarantined (which is another way your vanti-virus software tells your your screwed'. Beware of what you download. Downloading copyrighted stuff like Microsoft, Adobe etc is a asking for viruses because virus writers name their corrupt files as popular software like Windows Vista etc. Usually theses files are barely 200k to 5mb in size and only an idiot would think its actually a real program. Ramble, ramble, my bad yes Limewire is a good program.

Limewire itself will not hurt your computer but the items that you download can carry viruses. Also recently hackers have been using limewire to get into your computer and your personal files.

not really depending on how cautious you are with it. there are files that will harm your computer but others that won't this said limewire will warn you about those particular files. if its just music and videos you are after no worries its when you start downloading programmes that the problems start. you never know what is in those zip files.

limewire downloads are sometimes filled with viruses. Plus downloading music for free is illegal and considered a crime.

No, not this technique itself. yet be relatively careful with what you chosen to get carry of. I used to have a refurbished Dell computing device working homestead windows XP, and that i could use Limewire to get carry of track. the only protection I had exchange into homestead windows Defender, and my computing device exchange into horrifically contaminated interior some months. I advise getting some respectable anti-virus utility, or, even better, looking some incorrect thank you to get track.

Hey Friend,
First of All...LIMEWIRE is hard spyware...it will demolish your computer system. My humble request NOT TO USE THIS SOFTWARE AT ALL.....
Better to use Bittorrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.
Dear...Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.

No, it will not harm your computer, but downloading illegal stuff will get you in trouble, and accidently downloading viruses will get you too. The space you use it only how much you download.
