I like this person and a lot of gossip got around. Stuff like I liked him (which is true) and that I was going to ask him out at a concert (which was a load of sh**) To clear up any misunderstandings so that things didn't get more awkward, I tried to clear up the gossip. On my first attempt, he said "later" with a really rude tone. He said that he was busy, when I knew he still had a little bit of time. (Our mutual friends were around us, so I wasn't sure if it was because of them.) The second time I tried to talk to him, he gave me that "fiiiiinnnnneee" in that really, "i'll listen but i don't want to" tone. I asked him how much he knew. I cleared up the stuff that wasn't true, and told him the stuff that was. His face was expressionless and he didn't say anything. (Once again, mutual friends were there.) Idk if he would have said anything else, because I left after that.

btw, all that stuff about talking to him alone, just makes it even more awkward. so try to stay away from that advice plz.

He's probably acting like that because he thinks all the gossip is a joke to play with him. So his defense mechanism is to be rude to the so called person who started the gossip. Or it could be he doesn't like you but you will only be able to find out from him.

It doesn't sound like he hates you.. just that he's not really into you as much as you are into him. It could maybe be that he doesn't want to talk in front of people too. Try talking to him when there is no one around. Or be like hey "what's with the attitude?" That's a direct question so he has to give you a direct answer.

He doesn't hate you, but he finds you annoying! Quit apologizing for stuff other people told you they said! You're going to find yourself trapped in one of those "he said-she said" situations and loose all hope of ever getting to know him at all!
Steer clear of him for a little while and hopefully he'll come to YOU!

and honestly if he dosent want to talk to you then don apperintally your wasting him time and i wouldent give him the time nor the day, cuz to shove you off like that dose not show he attention he wants anything to do with you....

I think at first he thought you spreaded all the rumours but found you didn't. he probably doesn't hate you anymore but from what you said we don't really know if he actually likes you.

I doubt he hates you he sounds a bit immature. If I was you I would talk to him one on one if he doesn't listen then atleast you know you tried to talk to him. DOn't stress yourself its not worth it sweetie!

sounds to me like he likes you as a friend, somewhat, but not that deeply. you might have to get him by himself with you and then talk to him. im not promising anything, but it might be because of the friends.
