I listened to many answers so I talked to my friend about her anorexia problem. She denied everything and she said she doesn`t want help! I said that if she doesn`t want to get well I will tell her mother because I love her and I want only what`s best for her! Then she yelled at me that if I wanted the best for her I wasn`t going to tell her mother and that I should ook at myself in the mirror because I am an anorexic too! I am thinking that I`m a little fat but I don`t think I`m an anorexic. I eat but I eat only to satisfy my hunger because I don`t want to get chubby. My BMI is 17.9! Am I really an anorexic?

If you're eating because you're hungry, you're probably not anorexic. Your BMI is low, but not dangerously so. Anorexics don't eat, period. They starve themselves for days at a time or eat just a couple hundred calories a day. You're probably flirting with anorexia and some kind of weight issues, but it doesn't sounds like you have it full-blown.

A) I would tell her mother anyway just so she gets help. Depending on your age, her mother should be able to force her to get help or atleast talk to her about it.
B) Go online and find what your daily calorie intake should be. Just one day, take note of how many calories you are intaking. You may be under eating but if you are not intentionally starving yourself, chances are you are not anorexic.

You may have body dismorphia which is where you are self concious about your body and see it how its not, but i don't think you have anorexia because you do eat. No one is fully satisfied with how they look or completly comfortable in their own skin. Just try to be healthy, which is sounds like you are. And i'd suggest talking to your friend again and then following through and telling her mom if she doesn't listen to you. Good luck!

You don't say how tall you are or what you weigh, I think that if you are consuming food regularly and getting all the food groups, protein, fat, and carbs you are probably ok. You should be eating at least 1200 calories a day.

Your BMI is a little low but as long as you're eating and not purging then no.

I'm leaning towards a no. Ask your family. And yes, tell your friend's mom.
